| Description | A post-apocalyptic short movie featuring actors of the Landestheater Linz. The production had originally started as a project during the fifth semester of my studies in Media Technology and Design, and was finally finished as a private endeavour in 2013. Set in an alternative universe, the cold war has resulted in a nuclear holocaust that has ravaged across the earth and only left a barren wasteland. Amidst this harsh environment, a small group of marauders, led by the mysterious American Ian Parker (Subramaniam) is searching for supplies and equipment in the ruins of a Soviet-Russian research installation. But unbeknownst to his companions, this is not Ian's first visit to this facility. Revealing his true motives might be more dangerous than lurking mutant animals and hostile plunderers. It might even unveil the true reasons behind the nuclear war. The movie was shot at the abandoned leather factory Wurmgelände in Neumarkt im Mühlkreis and at the Café Aquarium in Linz. |
