| Description | Valory is a 2D platform game for Windows in which the player can only control the jumps of the protagonist, not the movement itself. To reach the next level, the player has to make use of various moveable platforms and other helpful elements that are spread all over the game world. Valory's story revolves around an unusual three-way relationship: in a fantasy kingdom, a villain wants to kidnap princess Valory, but he is stopped by the interference of a heroic knight. But instead of living happily ever after with his princess, the knight prefers to chase after the villain to end their unfinished duel. Intoxicated with love for her savior, princess Valory pursues the two combatants, despite the many dangers that lurk in the surrounding land. The player's task is to unite Valory with her knight and to keep the reckless princess safe. |
| Appearances | In October 2012, I presented Valory as one of five finalist projects during the live-pitching for Austrian game-startups in Vienna. Also, Valory was exhibited at the Ars Electronica Festival 2012, the game mechanics were subject of a scientific paper and the Upper Austrian internet provider LIWEST presented Valory in one issue of their customer magazine. |
